We are currently looking for an experienced full time Forklift Service Engineer to provide a quality service to our customers at various locations in and around Leicestershire.

The Role

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of forklifts and related equipment on-site at customer locations. This role offers a mix of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving in the field. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers in a professional manner whilst on location.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on forklifts and material handling equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer guidelines
• Provide on-site technical support and advice to customers
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as a field service engineer in the forklift or materials handling sector
• CFTS qualified & Thorough Examination certified
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
• Full UK driving licence
